When soil settles or washes out beneath a slab, concrete sinks — creating trip hazards and drainage problems. Polyurethane foam injection lifts it back to level in hours, at a fraction of replacement cost.
Driveways, patios, walkways, and garage floors all rest on soil — and in Chattanooga, that soil moves. Clay shrinkage, poor compaction during construction, and water washing fines out from beneath slabs leave voids. The slab above settles into them, cracking and tilting.
Slab jacking with polyurethane foam is the modern answer. Small holes are drilled in the slab, expanding foam is injected beneath, and the slab is precisely lifted back to grade. The foam is lightweight (so it won't overload weak soil), waterproof, and cures within minutes — most projects are drivable the same day.
Compared to tearing out and replacing concrete, leveling typically costs far less, takes hours instead of days, and leaves your landscaping intact. During a quick assessment we confirm the slab is a leveling candidate — and flag the rare cases where replacement is genuinely the better call.
